YOUNG GUNS – THE FUTURE OF THE MOPAR HOBBY
Sponsored by Mopar Muscle Magazine
The younger generation is the future of the Mopar hobby and we want to make sure they have a home at the All-Chrysler Nationals. If you haven’t checked out the Young Guns classes yet, you might be surprised to see that what they are doing isn’t a whole lot different than what we “old timers” are used to. Young Guns classes are open to licensed drivers, age 16-25.

MOPAR TOP ELIMINATOR 2011
Bob Villiger to be featured at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas
Each year the folks from Mopar select one car from the Chrysler Nationals to be placed on display at the annual SEMA Show and 2011's nod went to Bob Villiger of Arkansas. Villiger's car is a 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 Superbee and it was his first ever trip to Carlisle for an event. Villiger's Super Bee is one of only three Top Eliminator winners chosen and featured on Mopar Alley at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Congratulations Bob!
This could be you in 2012! Register your car for Carlisle where the folks from Mopar can find you!

Vintage NASCAR Collection on Display
Superbirds and More Highlight 2012 Event
In 2012, we’re going to assemble a vintage NASCAR display. While we aren’t sure what all types of cars will be included just yet, it’s safe to say we’ll have a few Superbirds, which just might resemble something Richard Petty drove. After all, he is The King! Stay tuned for updates on this great feature and enjoy what will be a great NASCAR themed weekend, both at Carlisle and on your TV. If you’ve got a Mopar that you think belongs in the NASCAR display, contact event manager Ed Buczeskie at 717-243-7855 x131.

1972 RETRO DEALERSHIP
Travel Back to 1972 at Carlisle
Building G always plays host to our “retro dealership” and we’re bringing this popular feature back once more. Turn your clocks back to 1972. Nixon was still President and gas was, at least as we look at it now, CHEAP! In addition, performance was still alive in the Mopar camp in ’72. They had everything from 340 small block engines to 440 big blocks. This, and so much more will be display as part of our annual and very popular “retro dealership.” Look for special displays throughout the dealership.
If you have an original or properly restored 1972 Mopar and would like to have it considered for the 1972 Retro Dealership, please complete and submit the Invitational Form.

BARN FINDS AND TIME BANDITS
Less than perfect time capsules
The 2011 Barn Finds display was such a huge hit that we have decided to make them a regular part of the show. If you have a car that’s solid but not nice enough to be considered a Survivor, why not do the mechanical repairs to make it safe and reliable? Once it’s roadworthy, drive it!! You can always restore it later but this way you can start having fun with it now. Call us at (717) 243-7855 or register online today!

MOPAR SURVIVOR DISPLAY
All-Original, Untouched, and Unrestored
Survivors are true time capsules and are the best way to see exactly how these vehicles were originally assembled on the line. They still have their original factory applied paint, interiors and drive trains; or at least a minimum of 85% of it. Thanks to Mel Major we were able to bring you over forty unique examples for each of the last several years. Maybe stopped by the Mopar Survivors Display to take lots of reference photos for their restoration project, enhance their knowledge or just to admire these rare beauties.

WIN A HEMI
Muscle Motors and Mopar Muscle Magazine Teaming up for You
The ultimate Hemi is up for grabs at Chrysler in 2012. You could be going home with a 392” Stroker 5.7 Hemi engine; the perfect piece for your Mopar. At Carlisle in 2012, “WE ARE GIVING AWAY A HEMI!”
This engine will have a carburetor and will come with the MSD ignition controller for spark distribution. Just run fuel to the carburetor and power to the MSD box and GO! Simple enough right? By the way, expect something bigger and better than a standard 400 horse power motor.
A special thanks to Muscle Motors and Mopar Muscle Magazine with additional thanks to Manley, Comp Cams and Milodon.
Rules and a link to register will be posted very soon. In the meanwhile, please note, the engine pictured is NOT the actual giveaway engine, rather a photo for reference.

SEMINARS, TUNE UP YOUR AUTOMOTIVE KNOWLEDGE

A common trait among the Mopar faithful is the do-it-yourself attitude. The Chrysler Nationals featured free seminars including information for both the seasoned veteran and rookie Mopar enthusiast. Previous topics have included performance, restoration and maintenance. Seminars were conducted by some of the biggest names in the business.
